The GENESIS is intentionally crafted to strip away comfort and build foundational discipline through rigorous, embodied challenges, establishing the vital mindset that "Pain is the Path." Throughout the event we progress from testing physical limits and endurance into a focus on inner strength and spiritual identity, anchoring his purpose with a powerful Dad's Blessing and culminating in training on control of power, purity, and chivalry.

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION

Training Foundation:
Formation, Fitness, and "Pain is the Path"
The training foundation instills discipline, fortitude, and self-control through fitness sessions, establishing the "Pain is the Path" mindset. They engage in a sandbag challenge, and exercises like the push-ups and flutter kicks.

Embodied Training Drills
(Physical/Emotional Growth)
Embodied Training Drills develop the Protector Instinct using the Protection Circle Drill, where the son defends a vulnerable person, and reinforce the lesson of carrying responsibility without complaint, through the Weight of Responsibility Drill using a heavy sandbag.

Knife & Protector Training
Learn how to safely use a knife. This knife will be utilized during the experience.

Endurance Hike
The Endurance Hike is a hard, challenging metaphor for life where boys carry sandbag-filled backpacks over difficult terrain to test mental fortitude, perseverance, and situational awareness for the subsequent mission.

Overnight Mission
("Son Mission")
The Overnight Mission tests resourcefulness, provision, and self-reliance, requiring buddy teams to use situational awareness and flint & steel to find and cook their food and rely on faith while camping alone and enduring the dark hour.

Sunrise Walk + Dad's Blessing
The Sunrise Walk involves the father speaking a life-blessing and declaration over his son to affirm his purpose as a man "chosen by God, equipped by the Father," which anchors his spiritual identity and symbolizes a commitment to "finish what you start" by emerging from the night's darkness.

Gun Safety Training
& Shooting
Gun Safety Training instills the high level of focus, discipline, and control required for safe handling of a powerful tool, emphasizing that tools are instruments to serve and protect, thereby reinforcing the serious responsibility that must govern power.

Martial Arts / Controlled Combat Training
Combat Training teaches the control of power by countering chaos, drilling the courage to "square up" and stand firm against fear and conflict, and allowing boys to physically process standing firm under pressure through sparring matches.

Sexual Purity Teaching & Chivalry
Combines the Purity Pact, a covenant to choose discipline over desire and honor God, with instruction on showing consistent honor, respect, and sacrificial physical protection toward women as daughters of God.

Graduation Ceremony & Initiation
The Graduation Ceremony and Initiation marks the successful completion of the Rite-of-Passage, launching the young man with a committed identity in Christ.

He and his college sweetheart Leelee have been happily married for nearly 20 years, raising 11 children together. Mondoe’s dynamic and strategic approach inspires with a vision and plan for long-term, sustainable personal and professional results.
BJ TIJERINA
BJ Tijerina, a Texas native, built a successful plumbing company that he sold to pursue his passion, serving men. After selling his company, he attended a Rise Up Kings event which inspired him to give back and help other men in their journey to improve their faith, family, and business. He now helps lead the RUK programs in Texas and supports men looking to level up in various aspects of their lives. Why is this event only for business owners?
Most business owners feel like they are doing it on their own. So I've built a platform for business owners to be around other like-minded men who have the same aspirations and challenges. Having like-minded associations has proven to produce incredible results for the members. What physical shape do I need to be in to attend?
We meet every man where they are currently at. You can come as you are. The goal is to push you through your current capacity. We’ve had guys who range from pro athletes to guys who haven’t worked out in years.
What does the event consist of?
Each day has a spiritual, mental & physical component to it. This is an experiential event with over 10 experiences that are designed to transform a man. The event also focuses on business growth and scaling techniques/mindsets/strategies.
Why is this only for men of faith?
Most personal development programs are secular and tend to embrace “personal power” and leave out God. In most business groups, the owners are not men of faith and therefore have different values. We want to create an environment where men share the same values and have a similar foundation.
What do we believe when it comes to faith?
Rise Up Kings is based on the non-denominational Christian faith. However, we have people attend from a wide variety of biblical-based religions.
Are most of the people coming to this event local?
No. We have had men from 43+ states.
What happens after the event?
You have the opportunity to be a part of the Rise Up King's brotherhood and business community. Rise Up Kings is one of the top Christian business training programs in the U.S. We put on seminars, training, and webinars to support men on their journey of becoming better fathers, husbands, and businessmen. There is no other Christian Business community like the RUK brotherhood.

For this specific event you must be a business owner. If you are not, you can still apply and we will notify you of the next event for high level employees or executives.

Yes. We start early and end late every day. We maximize value by providing as much experience and content through each day.

Rise Up Kings is a movement founded on the Christian faith. It is our core spiritual conviction that the Christian faith provides people an opportunity to be saved, and to be spiritually reborn.

Who is Skylar Lewis?
Skylar Lewis, more commonly known as the Christian Business Mentor, is a man of God, a family man, founder, coach, author and speaker. He has been married for 15 years and has two boys, 10 and 13.

13 to 17 years old. In the Jewish culture, manhood began at 13 years old. Our culture delayed manhood until 18 and sometimes 30 years old.

Does my son need to be a Christian?
He needs to be open to faith at some level. RUK is the largest community of Christian men focused on faith, family, fitness and finance in the country.

We have priced this event at a level to keep the caliber of people and quality of offering high. This is a world-class experience with high-level coaches and includes travel from your hotel and our facility, food, and gear for fathers and sons.
